This year was the Third Annual WISE Conference. It was also the third year I took pictures of the whole conference. I love this event every year. It is put together each year by WOAMTEC the Woodlands and MCABW. However, would not at all be possible without Glenda Minshew with Plan Ahead Events who is truely the backbone of the whole thing. This year Michelle Merhar from Fox 26 News was the Master of Ceremonies and she did a fantastic job. The morning started off with Congressman Kevin Brady. Then all the women got to hear from Donna Wick with Wicked Publicity. She had a really inspirational story to tell. Then the speaker that had the biggest impact on me was the Keynote Speaker Cynthia Kersey founder of the Unstoppable Foundation. She told her story about traveling to Kenya and seeing the problems they had and understanding that building a school building wont solve their issues. I really enjoyed everything she had to say. After that we also heard from Dr. John Demartini who was in the movie the Secret. He is a very animated speaker who does a wonderful job drawing people close. Dr. Demartini also lead a break out session in the afternoon. There were about six break out sessions where you could chose which one you wanted to go to and learn something new. In the afternoon we heard from board members from the Rett Syndrome. The Rett Syndrome is a terrible disease that only affects girls. They were one of the beneficiaries from the WISE Conference. It was really  a day about connecting  with other women and giving to others is really a gift to yourself.
